We prepare you for more than the emergency itself. H.E.L.P. training focuses on recognizing what is happening, responding with practical skills, and understanding what may come after.

  • Learn to identify warning signs, assess the situation, and recognize when an animal may need immediate intervention.

  • Build confidence using Animal CPR, First Aid, and emergency response skills through hands-on training.

  • Understand the steps after the immediate crisis, including continued monitoring, veterinary follow-up, and post-emergency considerations.

  • Animal emergencies can affect the people involved, too. H.E.L.P. recognizes the emotional impact and provides access to peer support when needed.

H.E.L.P. provides practical, hands-on Animal CPR, First Aid, and emergency preparedness education for pet owners, pet professionals, students, and organizations.

Our veterinary-approved program goes beyond simply teaching CPR. Students learn how to recognize an emergency, respond with practical skills, understand what comes next, and recognize the impact an animal emergency can have on the people involved.

Founded by Kate Klasen, H.E.L.P. training is taught by Kate Klasen and Anjie Coates, both former first responders, bringing together emergency response experience, animal-care education, and real-world instruction to help students feel more prepared when the unexpected happens.
